The team at Lionbridge with solution centres in 25 countries worldwide is recruiting part-time self-employed workers who are fluent Spanish speakers and are based in Chile to join their Online Mapping Research team.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Spanish & English is essential

• We are seeking people who have access to the internet and who are confident in using the internet

• Excellent knowledge of local geographical areas

• Experience/know-how of using online maps and generating driving directions

• For cultural, historical and geographical awareness purposes candidates must be resident in Chile for the last year

• From time to time, you may also be required to complete certain tasks using a Tablet (Android or iPad)

The goal of this project is to evaluate and improve online mapping software. Candidates will need to determine and rate the effectiveness of the mapping products and provide qualified feedback on the user experience.

The work will involve:

• Using online maps to investigate geographic accuracy of queries

• Grading the accuracy of online map results and locations

• Determining if City, Province and Country results are geographically accurate for your region

An immediate start is required and full training materials will be provided.
